The Zeus IV is the newest flagship in the Dr. Arrivo line from Japan. It takes the idea that made the earlier Zeus models popular - several technologies in one treatment head - and adds app control and a new nine-electrode head. This guide walks you through what is in the box, how the modes work and how to plan your first four weeks, based on the questions we hear every day in our showrooms in Limassol and Nicosia.

What comes in the box
An original Zeus IV set from the official distributor includes:
- the Zeus IV device in black or white;
- PE Golden Beauty serum and massage gel - the products the device was designed to work with;
- the AC adapter and a stand;
- a warranty card with the same individual serial number as the device.
Check that the serial number on the device and on the card match. That number is how your 12-month manufacturer warranty is registered to you. If you bought from us, you can also register it in your account on our website.
The nine-electrode head
The head of the Zeus IV moves freely and follows the contours of the face, so the electrodes stay in contact with the skin on the jawline, cheekbones and forehead. The nine electrodes are treated with 24K gold. In practice this means a smooth glide and even contact - provided you use enough gel, which we will come back to.

The four modes in plain words
- EMS - electrical muscle stimulation. You feel gentle rhythmic contractions. It is used in routines aimed at a toned-looking contour.
- HEAT - RF warmth at 200 kHz. A comfortable warmth that gives the skin a smooth, firm feel.
- M/U - nine-point MFIP alternating with Ultra Pulse. MFIP is Dr. Arrivo's version of microcurrent: short intervals of mid-frequency pulses.
- LED - selectable light colours that run alongside the other modes.
Each session runs on a 10-minute timer. That is not a limitation - it is the routine. Ten focused minutes several times a week do more than an occasional long session.
What the app adds
The app lets you choose modes and intensity on your phone, save the settings you like and follow guided programmes. If you are new to beauty devices, this takes the guesswork out of the first weeks: you start a programme instead of wondering which button to press. How do you like to control a device?
If you are happy to keep your phone next to the sink, the Zeus IV app is the most comfortable way to run a routine: you see the mode, the level and the time left, and you can repeat yesterday's settings in one tap. If you would rather never open an app, the Zeus III keeps everything on a touchscreen on the device itself, and the Zeus II has direct buttons.
What do you want to work on?
The Zeus IV is built for the face and the contour: jawline, cheekbones, the area around the mouth and the forehead. The free-moving head is the reason people choose it. If your main goal is the eye area, a compact cordless model such as the Miss Arrivo Ghost may be the better first device, and many clients end up using both.
How much time will you really give it?
Be honest. Three to five sessions of ten minutes each week is what a Zeus is designed for. If that sounds like too much, it is better to know now than to leave a €1,590 set in a drawer. A sample evening session, minute by minute
This is the routine we show most often in the showroom. Adjust it to your skin and to the programme you choose in the app.
- Cleanse and dry the face. Remove all makeup and sunscreen; residue makes the glide uneven.
- Apply the serum, then a generous layer of massage gel over the area you will treat first.
- Start the programme on the lowest level. Begin at the jawline: slow upward strokes from the chin towards the ear, three times on each side.
- Move to the cheeks: from the corner of the mouth towards the temple, slowly, without pressing.
- Finish on the forehead with strokes from the brows towards the hairline.
- Add gel whenever the head starts to drag. When the timer ends, remove the remaining gel with a damp cloth and apply your usual cream.
The whole ritual, including cleansing, takes about fifteen minutes. That is the reason the timer exists: it turns a device into a habit you can fit between dinner and bed.
Your first month, week by week
Week 1 - get comfortable. Three sessions. Lowest intensity, plenty of gel, slow upward movements: jawline, then cheeks, then forehead. Notice how the skin feels afterwards.
Week 2 - build the habit. Four sessions. Raise the intensity one step if it feels comfortable. Pick a fixed moment: after the evening cleanse works for most people.
Week 3 - fine-tune. Four to five sessions. Use the app to save your favourite programme. Take a photo in the same light and angle as on day one.
Week 4 - compare. Look at the photos side by side. Most people notice a fresher, more defined look after several weeks of regular use. Regularity matters more than intensity.
How to judge the result honestly
A beauty device is not a procedure in a clinic, and we never promise that it will replace one. What regular use can give you is skin that feels smoother and firmer and a face that looks fresher and more defined in photos. To see that clearly:
- take day-one photos in daylight, without makeup, facing a window, with the same phone and distance;
- repeat the photos on day 28 in the same place and at the same time of day;
- keep a simple note in the app or on paper: how many sessions you actually did.
If after four weeks you did eight sessions instead of sixteen, the comparison tells you about the habit, not the device. If you did the sessions and are unsure what you see, bring the photos to the showroom and we will look at them together and adjust the programme.
Three mistakes to avoid
- Too little gel. If the device drags, add more. The gel helps the current and warmth pass evenly.
- Starting too strong. Comfort first. A higher level is not a better result.
- Long breaks. Two weeks off and you are back at the start. Short and regular wins.
Who should not use it
Do not use the device if you are pregnant, have a pacemaker or other implanted electronic device, or have epilepsy, and check the full list of contraindications in the manual. If you are unsure, ask your doctor first - and feel free to ask us.

Care and storage
Wipe the head after every session with a soft damp cloth and let it dry. The device is not waterproof, so keep it away from the sink and never rinse it under the tap. Store it on its stand, away from direct sun.
